  • Commitment Statement

  • When agreeing to join Engage Your Equal (E.Y.E), participants agree to be part of a multifaceted program that aims to bring a broader vision of the world and a greater sense of solidarity to the Diocese of Phoenix. E.Y.E participants will be committed to attending five pre-immersion preparation meetings, helping fundraise before the experience, attending a twelve-day immersion experience immediately followed by a post-immersion retreat, and participating in monthly gatherings for 6 months after the immersion. These meetings will revolve around sharing their post immersion experiences, supporting each other in their goals, and continuing to build community and grow in faith together. Additionally, participants are expected to bring their experience back to the Diocese of Phoenix in the form of ministry development. This can look like starting a new ministry at their church, contributing what they learned to an already existing ministry, promoting education/ awareness in schools or parishes, and more. We understand that this commitment requires time and dedication, but we believe in the power of E.Y.E to foster solidarity, understanding, and action within our community.
